How To Back Up And Restore Contents In Blogger?

To unintentionally lose your data is such a terrible experience. So to prepare yourself from a potential data loss, it is advised that you regularly create a backup.

To help you create or restore your back up in Blogger, you can follow the steps in this post.

Backup 

Step 1: From the dashboard click “Settings”

Step 2: Scroll down to “Manage Blog” section and click “Back up content”

Step 3: On the pop window click “Download”

Step 4: Set a save location and click “Save”

Result: Your back up should be on the location you specified in “Step 4”

Restore

Step 1: From the dashboard click “Settings”

Step 2: Scroll down to “Manage Blog” section and click “Import content”

Step 3: Answer the “Captcha” on the pop-up window and click “Import”

Step 4: Locate and "Open" your “.xml” back up

Result: Depending on your settings in “Step 3” the posts could be published or draft
